How Do I Send Out An SMS Campaign Alert?

mShopper's SMS (txt messaging) Marketing outreach campaign platform is truly awesome and very easy to use. This is a super powerful tool in which we highly recommend you use after you start building your mobile database. Since your mobile database was created earlier now you can have shoppers organically opt-in (raise their hands) to receive unique deal alerts! You can purchase text messages for 1 cent in bulk (over 200,000) or 1.5 cents in smaller quantities. This is included in your Dashboard and here is a brief snyopsis of some of the pages:

To get started: Go to Dashboard > SMS Marketing

Overview - It takes just seconds to send out a great SMS campaign and you can include a link to your mStore pages. The link will be abbreviated as a TINY URL (similar to a bitly)

  • a) Buy Credits - Cost one cent per message (bought in bulk of 200k+) or just 1.5 cents per text message
  • b)  Click Create SMS Campaign - Found in the top right corner. Note you must have subscribers to send SMS.
  • c)  Name Your Campaign - Naming allows you to organize/track later
  • e) Choose your subscriber list - You created this list on your design form, now choose the target
  • g) Type Out Text Message - You have 140 characters to write a persuasive message on your special deal
  • f) Choose a URL - Choose any mStore Url (product page, (SERP) search engine results page, category page, homepage, etc.
  • g) Schedule Date & Time - Strategically choose in advance the date, time of day
  • h) Test - On the bottom of the page enter your smartphone # to test before authorizing. Check spelling and the tiny url link!
  • i) Authorize - After the test mesage looks good. You must click on the campaign and authorize it with your name and initials.

Step 1: How To Send An Alert

a) Buy Credits - Click the red button, "Buy Credits" found on the top right of the page. Cost one cent per message (bought in bulk of 200k+) or just 1.5 cents per text message

Step 2: Create an SMS

a)  Name Your Campaign - Naming allows you to organize/track later (Example shown below)

b) Choose Your Target Audience (subscriber list) - You created this list on your design form, now choose the target (Example shown below)

g) Type Out Text Message - You have 140 characters to write a persuasive message on your special deal   (Example shown below)

Note:  If you send out alerts that don't offer a discount, you're likely going to see poor ROI and shoppers will opt-out considering that you are spamming them.

f) Approve SMS - After the test mesage looks good you must "approve" the SMS. View in the "History" section the SMS campaign, for exmaple, "Redft" and you'll see next to it a link staing, "Pending Approval - Approve".  After clicking a pop-up window will ask you for your name and initials to authorize. Note: This is also the main screen when you visit, "View & Create SMS Campaign" to review archived campaigns. (Example shown below)

Note:  If you send out alerts that don't offer a discount, you're likely going to see poor ROI and shoppers will opt-out considering that you are spamming them.
